Igor Kalinauskas “Magician Chamber”

History of «Magician Chamber». The composition was created in 2004 in St.-Petersburg.
It consists of 9 pictorial works in canvas-oil technique. According to the artist’s idea the frames
made as a black mirror (piano lacquer) reflect space and people who are around the pictures.
Until now the composition was kept in a specially equipped premise of Igor Kalinauskas
Moscow workshop and was used as space for internal work and work with DFC technique.

New exhibition at Elena Vrublevskayagallery tells of surviving ancient Sufi tradition of dervishes from Central Asia.
The authors - Olesya Bondareva, and Mauri Pasanen - recorded on photo and video the sessions
and healing rituals of Bifatima, one of the last Sufi dervishes of Kazakhstan.
It is planned that during the exhibition Bifatima-apa will personally visit Moscow,
and hold several ceremonies in the exhibition area.

The basis of the exposition is a collection of Mandas of pre-buddhist Tibetan tradition Bon.
This collection is the result of several expeditions to Tibet, Bhutan and the Kingdom of Mustang.
Bon Mandalas are significantly different from the Buddhist Mandas, although they are the distinctive origin for the latter.
There are one hundred thirty-one artifacts of this kind in the world. About forty of them will be presented at the exhibition.

Andrey Sidersky «Ayavaska»

The works included in the new exhibition AYAVASKA were painted over the past
six months, and belong to a series «Portal 108». According to Sidersky there are 108 of so-called «energy gates»
or portals in the human body. Through these portals a person can gain access
to his own knowledge and get the ability to awaken the extraordinary
force of creative energy, which most people have in its sleeping state.
