From September 27 to October 1 Elena Vrublevskaya Gallery participated in the International Art Forum Berlin with the photographs by Sviatoslav Ponomarev and German Vinogradov. Besides, the gallery presented the performance of the Theatre of Tibetan Music "Purba" in Kunstlerhaus Bethanien. On the opening day there were made several reports about the stand of the Gallery by four broadcasting channels, including CNN. Several articles on the participation of the Gallery in Art Forum appeared in Russian press (“Russians have taken Berlin again” Commersant ¹190 October 11, 2000; “Art is not luxury, but the means of communications " Expert ¹39 October 16, 2000; "The roof is on fire while business goes on" Inspirator ¹1 2000).

At the end of September – beginning of October at the newest European art fair Art Forum Berlin Elena Vrublevskaya Gallery presented the project by Sviatoslav Ponomarev “Possibility of Transformation”. The “magical” context of the project seems to condescend to the sterility of the stand: the photographs are arranged in geometrical figures, there is a strange object in the center of the exposition. But symmetry and inner coolness are ousted by deepness and strangeness. “The legs of the table” – the main  element of the exposition – go up to the height of almost 3 meters, and there the fabric stretched between them forms a tent with a video image on it, which becomes slightly visible when the fabric moves from some unseen air flow.

Frozen icon-like images of the photographs make spectator to look into the space which is parallel to a dream more attentively. So, the new artist effectively announced himself on the European art scene and the new gallery continues to affirm it’s place and it’s special way in the higher league of the Moscow galleries.”
